Submission Guidelines
Please read the following carefully before submitting. Articles that don’t follow these guidelines will not be considered.
Content Standards
- Articles must be original, unpublished, and not submitted elsewhere simultaneously.
- Minimum word count is 1,000 words — most of our best-performing articles are 1,500–2,500 words.
- All factual claims must be supported by links to peer-reviewed studies, government health bodies (NIH, CDC, WHO), or recognised medical institutions.
- Write for a general audience — explain medical terms when you use them and avoid unnecessary jargon.
- Articles should offer actionable takeaways, not just information.
Topics We Accept
Topics We Do Not Accept
- Promotional or sponsored content disguised as editorial articles
- Articles making unverified health claims
- Product reviews written with undisclosed affiliate intent
- Content targeting weight loss in a way that promotes disordered eating
- Anything contradicting established consensus without substantial peer-reviewed backing

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a doctor or medical professional?
No — but you do need real expertise in the topic you’re writing about. Experienced health writers, researchers, educators, and credentialed wellness professionals are all welcome. Credentials will be verified for medically sensitive topics.
How long does review take?
